Challenge Accepted!

I am gonna attempt the nail art challenge!...

...But on one condition, lol I am gonna do it per week. So instead of doing it per day for 31 days, I will do it for 31 weeks. =D I know it's cheating a little bit BUT I PROMISE that I will try to be as creative as I can. Cross my heart & hope to die...I dunno the rest. But yea...wish me luck!

Clinique Saved My Skin

So ever since I was like 11, I had really bad case of acne...like really BAD and gross. I've tried Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Murad, Proactive & so much more crappy products! I thought had the most messed up skin ever! Until a few months ago, I decided to try out Clinique's 3 step acne plan.

I'm not gonna lie, I was very skeptical at first because I had so many of my friends bash the product. Most of them said it didn't work and others said that they stop using it because it made their skin dry and peel a bit. Honestly, it made my skin peel too at first but if you think about it,  that just means that your skin is getting use to the solution & it's your dead skin that is peeling off. So don't be alarmed. o.O

Anyways, I started off with the $40ish starters kit from Sephora. It just has the 3 steps in small bottles & when I was half done, my ENTIRE face was pimple FREE!!! I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! =) Every since than, I haven't stop using Clinique.

I really love this product, so I thought I would share it to who ever that has tried every other acne product.

So I recently just ran out of the acne solution clarifying lotion & being the lazy butt I am, I haven't gotten one in 2 FULL weeks! lol As the results, I have gotten 4 pimples on my forehead . ='( Therefore, I decided to go to the Bay to get some. & lucky for me, my friend just informed me that Clinique was doing a promotion! With a minimum purchase of $28 you get FREE gifts! I love getting free gifts lol so I had to go!!

Inside the shopping bag
Step 2 Acne Solution: Clarifying Lotion $17
This is what I ran out of, I dunno why it's called a lotion lol it should be called a toner cause lotions are suppose to be creamy...am I right?! Also this lotion does sting my face every time I use it...I think that just means it's working lol.

Step 1 Acne Solution: Cleansing Foam $23
I love that fact that this is foamy.

Silicone Face Scrubber: $2 on Ebay

This is what I use to wash my face with the cleansing foam. I highly recommend this face scrubber! It got rid of my blackheads and is supper gentle on my face. Also this thing takes off my make up so easily! I love the fact that I can see all my make up on this scrubber, it just puts my mind to ease, that ALL of my make up is removed. & all I have to do is rinse the scrubber with water to clean it.

Step 3 was an acne lotion. I didn't buy it because I did not really need it. I just use any kind of face lotion after and it does not effect the results.

Free Make up Bag

SOOO bright & summery. =)

Old Denim? New Shorts!

It's a Friday night and I'm bored! The boyfriend left me to go watch the Woman in Black and I didn't want to go cause I'm a pussy lol. I actually haven't seen a scary movie in like 3 and a half years. So instead I'm home all alone...='(

A few weeks ago I had ordered 200 cone shaped studs, from  studsandspikes.com and I haven't got the chance of studding anything yet. So since I had nothing to do on this Friday night...I know I'm a loser! Always have been so It doesn't bother me LOL. I was determined to find something to stud!& I came across my black ripped Zara Denim which I only got for like $19.99 btw. And I was like MEHH! I haven't worn these in ages...and than a light bulb lit up in my head. I should turn this into shorts! and add studs!

Oh, and sorry for the poor quality pictures, I uses my iPhone 4 to take picture of everything because my actual camera has been broken for quite some time now. =S

Purchased at Zara for like $20. Gotta love Zara sale!

Tip for making your own shorts. Cut it a bit longer and on an angle. Or better yet, just youtube it! There is a how to video on EVERYTHING! No jokes...

And this is how my new shorts looked! I rolled up the bottom for a more clean look.

Pretty darn cute I must say!

silver studs: Tall English 77 silver Studs
I got 100 for $4.22
black studs: Black Metal English 77 Studs 7/16"
I got 100 for $4.22

At first, I was pretty indecisive cause I didn't know where exactly I wanted to stud.

& of course being the idiot I am, I decided to outline the pockets with studs...The toughest spot ever to do! I actually broke a nail over it because I couldn't get the studs through lol. FRICK!

ANYWAYS! This is the final product...I think. They sorta look a LITTLE plain to me, I dunno if I'm gonna continue studding or not, but I'm quite pleased with my new shorts.

My daily routine consists on me checking my Youtube app when I wake up and before I go to sleep. I know, you people think I'm addicted...but I'm not! I can assure you checking youtube a few times a day is perfectly healthy. O.o Anyways I just wanted to make a post about my top 10 youtube channels.

http://www.youtube.com/user/cookingwithdog

This youtube channel was one of my first subscriptions, just because the quality was great and I love simple cooking! This channel is based on easy Japanese recipes and with a poodle named Francis as the host! lol. Francis accent is quite different and weird at first but you will adapt to it!

2. runnyrunny999
http://www.youtube.com/user/runnyrunny999

Since I love cookingwithdog so much, I was so happy when I found runnrunny's youtube channel. His channel is pretty much like cookingwithdog but without the dog lol and its more homemade. His cooking show is also about easy Japaneses cooking but he lets his youtube subscribers order food, it's like ordering at a restaurant.
Runny than shows you how to cook the food, than he eats it in front of you! Sorta cruel if you ask me. =/

3. Foodwishes
http://www.youtube.com/user/foodwishes

This is my 3rd favorite food channel! This channel consist of American cooking and the host is Chef John. I dunno but there is something about his voice, it's really calming LOL not weird at all...Anyways his channel is in HD which is awesome and his recipes are super simple.

I now have 5 youtubers about fashion & beauty.

1. Clothesencounters
http://www.youtube.com/user/clothesencounters

Clothesencounters is my all time favorite fashion youtuber! Just because Jenn is so cute and she has amazing taste. Also her videos are really well done, they sorta remind me what Aritzia brand is about.  Also, what's really unique about her is that 90% of her wardrobe is from a thrift store! This channel has really inspire me to go thrifting too!

...Anyone wanna go with me?

My last 2 youtube subscriptions doesn't really have a category...lets call the category Just Because!

1. RRcherrypie
http://www.youtube.com/user/RRcherrypie
This channel is pretty much about Japanese toys lol. As you already know, Japaneses toy are already cool and funky enough already. BUT the sounds the toys make and the sounds of opening boxes and stuff to get to the toy is very smoothing and addicting. This is what makes the channel unique. lol.

2. Bobaepapa
http://www.youtube.com/user/bobaepapa
This channel is about Yerin. She is a super adorable Korean baby girl, with super FAT cheeks. What not to LIKE? After watching this video, you're gonna be poking the screen to try to poke her cheeks! HA! =D

Want Pretty Long & Strong Nails?

Hey peeps! Okay so, I'm gonna make this post about taking care of your finger nails and how to make them stronger and longer! I'm gonna show you guys what is in my nail care kit and and what I do step by step.

Sooooooo...I usually do my nails every 2 weeks but I have ran out of nail polish remover for quite some time now and have not done anything to my nails in like a month and a half. And after cutting my nails for the first time in 2 months and removing my previous nail polish, this is what my hand looks like.
I know! I KNOW! My nails are DISGUSTING!

So yea..don't be afraid! You can TRUST me completely! I swear you'll see beautiful results in the long run! My nails only look like that because I like to pick my nail polish off. Which is a DO NOT! Because it makes your nails thinner!!! Also because I have been neglecting my hands throughout December and January.

ANYWAYS. This is what my nail care kit consist of.
Everything you will need! and nail polish remover. =)
I know it's sorta a lot but do you want pretty nails or not?! Than don't QUESTION my wisdom!

Purchased at Walmart

As nail polish remover, I like to use 100% acetone, just because it gets the job done real quick. This one is maximum strength so it does the job even quicker!

Best nail filer EVER! lol I think I need a new one.

Purchased at Shopper Drug Mart
After cleaning my nails, I like to shape them. I usually don't cut my nails unless it's broken or really long. Anyways lets take a minute to talk about this nail filer lol. I LOVE this Revlon Shape 'N' Buff nail filer because it has numbers & steps, as you can see and it tells you what the different surfaces are for. I remember seeing ones that don't tell you and it's just like a blank block with colors on it and I was like "WTF are these for? Decoration?" anyways go buy one.

After I am done shaping and buffing my nails, I use a cuticle scraper to push back my cuticles and to scrape off skin that is lingering around my nails.
Purchased at Shopper Drug Mart
Gently push, it doesn't hurt one bit. You can cut your cuticles if you want but I don't.
After that I put on cuticle oil on my cuticles and massage it into my nails for a good minute, I rinse with water and dry my nails. Make sure you dry your nails completely or nail polish will not stick. Apply cuticle oil is very IMPORTANT because that is what makes your nails grow.
Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil. Purchased at Shopper Drug Mart.
Just apply on your cuticles, not your entire nails.
This next step is optional.
Sally Hansen 2-en-1 Nail White Pencil.

This step is optional because all it does is makes your nail tips look whiter. I only use this when I have my nails bare. When I paint my nails, my tips are hidden. So it doesn't matter, unless you have super yucky dark yellow tips.

After that is all done, I use a nail strengthener polish.

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Hardener. Purchased at Shopper Drug Mart.
This Strengthener could be worn alone for a bare look or as a base coat before you apply nail polish. I like to apply 2 coats because one coat doesn't make my nail surface smooth enough for me. & In the long run, you will notice your nails are stronger and healthier. =)
Looking better already!
And after all that crap is done! FINALLY! I put on hand cream. This hand cream is amazing because it has lots of goodies in it to help my nails grow and make my skin soft at the same time. It's like a magical cream for hands!

Purchased at Shopper Drug Mart
And that's it! This ENTIRE process takes me about 15 minutes to do so its not that too bad...and it's a lot cheaper than going to the nail salon every 2 weeks. =D

HELLO!

*cough cough* This was the best picture I could find of myself on Facebook. lol.
Hello! My name is Misty and Huynh is my last name of course. I decided to create a blog because...well...I sorta got bored of my current life and FB, Twitter and Instagram was not enough to satisfy my needs anymore, so I turned to blogging!!! Not that anyone would care... ='( but hopefully I would stick to it. >.0

I never blogged before. Well...I use to have CalgaryPlanet and Galooma like almost a decade ago. I don't know if that counts because it wasn't really a blog, just a simpler version of blogging, if that makes sense...probably doesn't. But the amount of pictures I take on Instagram and the random shit load of stuff I tweet about combined, could make up as a blog lol. Besides, everyone has a blog of some sort and I want one TOO!

Anyways it's like almost 5am in my time, so...ADIOS AMIGOS! =D
