Product Review: Soap & Glory Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em Body Buff

Hey guys, I bought this body scrub a couple months ago at Shoppersdrug Mart for $18 & thought I would share my thoughts about it.

Here is the description of the scrub from the Soap & Glory site.
"With babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils. Scented with our Mist You Madly™ fragrance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Scoop out a handful and rub it all over, then rinse. Smear our Daily Smooth Body Butter on top (it has the same sexy smell!), if you want to maximize the moisturize."

I normally don't prefer yummy scents that smell like vanilla and cake but this one is an exception.

This is what the scrub looks like. It looks like delicious pink strawberry icing doesn't it?

Once you rub this everywhere, all the oils get absorbed immediately into your skin and leaves it feeling really silky. I swear my legs felt very soft and moisturized underneath my hot shower water.

I really enjoy this scrub because it exfoliates & it helps prevent in grown hairs after shaving.

I recommend you guys trying this out. =)

Product Review: Diamond Candles

Hey guys! I would like to share with you this awesome candle I bought. It's a 21oz. soy candle, that has a ring hidden in the wax of each one. The rinds ranges from $10 - $5000.

I first found out about this candle on Instagram, one girl that I followed shared some pictures of her first Diamond candle. I asked her where she got it and she sent me a link to http://www.diamondcandles.com/. Once I got on the site, I went crazy! The prices of these candles are only $25 & it comes with a ring. I thought it was amazing because all the candles you buy at Bath & Body Works are already $25 for one, why not get a $25 candle with a ring?

I immediately started to but a bunch of candles in my shopping basket & when I finally ready to pay...Diamonds Candles don't ship internationally. Which means, it only ships within the USA. I was so bummed out and depressed for awhile, until I decided to hunt it down on Ebay. I found a seller, chinableu who sold some of these candles for $35 but with a shipping charge of $20. So it totaled to $55, which was a really expensive for a candle but I reasoned with myself and bought it anyways cause I really wanted it.

It took about 2 weeks to arrive to my place & during that 2 weeks, I went crazy. I was so excited that I went on Youtube and watched reviews on this candle and watch people revealing their rings. Most rings were gorgeous, so I even got more excited for mine, untill I watched this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrqQoYaxifE I started to panic, I was really worried that I would get a crappy ring like hers lol.

Anyways, on to my review. Once I got my mail, the package was seriously heavy. I swear this thing weighs like 5 pounds lol this candle was massive, which is a good thing because I did pay $55 for it. Oh, & the scent that I got is called Cuddle.

Umm, I'm actually really sick right now, so I lost my sense in smelling. I can barely smell anything with my nose at the moment lol. But, once I started to burn this thing, I could actually smell a hint of this candle like 4 meters away. So, the aroma of this scent must be really strong if I can still smell it with a stuffy nose. The Cuddle scent itself smells like baby oil...baby powder? I don't mind this scent but my boyfriend hates it lol. He actually ran in the room yelling it stinks because it smells like a babys butt. SO, next time I'm definitely going to buy a different scent.

The ring is located where the gold sticker is on the back on the candle. It took about 6 hours-ish for the wax to melt to revel the gold foil that the ring was wrapped in. Honestly, this is my first soy candle and the wax takes forever to disintegrate, so for sure this candle will last a lot longer than my Bath & Body Works candles.

Once I got my ring out of the wax, it was really oily. I guess that just means that the candle is full of fragrance oil. & once I saw my ring, I was really happy that it wasn't ugly. I'm pretty sure that I got the $10 rings and I don't care, because it doesn't feel cheap and it's pretty darn shinny.

Pros:
- Soy wax. It's long lasting a good for the environment.
- Strong Scented
- Huge. 21oz.
- Comes with a ring

Cons:
- Ships within USA only. Have to play double the price on Ebay because of that.

I'm actually really happy that I got this, even though it costed me $55, I thought it was well worth it. The idea itself is pretty genius, like what girl wouldn't want a candle with a ring inside.

Overall, I would buy this candle again, the quality is amazing. I just wish that Diamond Candles would ship to Canada. PLEASE ship to Canada soon!

Here is my instagram picture of what the ring really looks like.

Product Review: Hard Candy 4 Day Mascara Stain

So I've stumbled upon this make up (Hard Candy) brand at Walmart in the cosmetic section next to the Rimmel products. What caught my eyes the most was the their mascaras & that big fat tubes they were packaged in. I decided to try this mascara out because the 4 day label intrigued me. It cost me about $7 & the mascara itself is a decent size & has a decent amount of product in it.

The back of the tube, claims to last 4 whole days without the need to reapply mascara. It also says that you can "shower, go in the pool, cry, rub your eyes, or get rained on - your lashes will stay flawless".  Lets see how well that mascara lives up to it's expectation.

This is what the brush looks like.

I don't know if you guys can tell by the picture, but the mascara liquid is really thin and runny.

The mascara liquid was so thin that every time I put it on, it got everywhere. I couldn't even put my eye shadows on first, I would have to put on mascara, clean it up, than do my normal eye make up routine.

On the plus side, the mascara does coat the upper lids of my eyes though, that saves me eyeliner & no clumps. It also does make my lashes look decently good.

Day 2

There was barely any traces of mascara on my lashes for day 2. I guess if you stared hard enough, you can sort of tell that my individual lashes are thicker than normal.

Day 3

There was no trace of mascara on my lashes & honestly, I don't even need to show you guys a day 4 picture because it would just look the same.

Pros:
- It coats the upper eye lid so I don't have to do it with liner.
-No clumps
-Once my lashes gets wet, it doesn't run down my eyes, if that makes an

Cons:
-Thin & runny
-Messy
-Doesn't even last for 2 days.

I give this mascara a 5/10. I wouldn't recommend this to you guys cause it didn't live up to it's 4 day expectation, I do regret purchasing this because it's such a pain in the bum to apply. However,  since I bought it & have to use it, I think I will take it this with me to my Dominican trip in June. Why? Because it doesn't run down  my face when my lashes gets wet, so it would be the perfect mascara to swim in minus the messy application of it.

Product Review: Vaseline Hydratant Spray & Go

Happy long weekend guys!

I'm back with another review, This time it's gonna be on this new Vaseline product, Hydratant Spray & Go. This new line has 3 different scents:
Aloe Fresh (this is the one I purchased for $6.77 @ Walmart)

This spray lotion claims to be convenient,  non greasy & to moisturizes in seconds.

This is so easy to use, all you do is spray and rub & that's it. No more pumping or squeezing lotion!!!

What's also awesome about this bottle...can, it the lock & open cap...nozzle thing. All you have to do is turn it & your set to go, it's actually really convenient that way. I would always hate bring lotion when traveling because for the pump bottles, you had to push down the pump & than turn it to lock & a lot of extra lotion would come out. With this, no more of that non sense lol.

Another thing that I absolutely hate that pump bottle lotion does, is leave dried lotion drips at the tip, or that ring of dried lotion for the squeeze bottles. It's sorta gross & annoying. Lucky, I haven't had any dried lotion on the spray nozzle for the Vaseline spray.

The continues spray is actually pretty awesome. Can you imagine if it wasn't?

The lotion it's self is quite thin and runny, it feels like I'm rubbing water on my self. But, does it do a good job of moisturizing my skin you ask?

Compared to the traditional lotions, it  does an OK job, not get me wrong, it makes my skin soft and everything but it doesn't live up to the normal pump/squeeze lotions. I think it's because a pump/squeeze lotion is more thick compare to this spray on one. This spray lotion is pretty much watered down lotion so it's not as strong, if you know what I mean lol. But like I said, it's not bad.

Pros:
- Very convenient
- Easy lock & open cap
- Portable
- Smells good
- Easy to hold & use
- No gross dried dripped lotion on the nozzle
- Non-greasy
- Fast absorbing

Cons:
- Lotion is thin & runny
- Not as moisturizing as regular pump lotion

What is my rating? & would I buy this again?
I give this Spray & Go lotion a 7 out of 10 & I would buy it again because it is super convenient to use, especially right after the shower. Although the formula is quite thin, I would probably just use more or use regular lotion on my most dry body parts, like my elbows and knees. =) Hope you guys give this thing a try & share your opinion in it.

Clinique Saved My Skin

So ever since I was like 11, I had really bad case of acne...like really BAD and gross. I've tried Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Murad, Proactive & so much more crappy products! I thought had the most messed up skin ever! Until a few months ago, I decided to try out Clinique's 3 step acne plan.

I'm not gonna lie, I was very skeptical at first because I had so many of my friends bash the product. Most of them said it didn't work and others said that they stop using it because it made their skin dry and peel a bit. Honestly, it made my skin peel too at first but if you think about it,  that just means that your skin is getting use to the solution & it's your dead skin that is peeling off. So don't be alarmed. o.O

Anyways, I started off with the $40ish starters kit from Sephora. It just has the 3 steps in small bottles & when I was half done, my ENTIRE face was pimple FREE!!! I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! =) Every since than, I haven't stop using Clinique.

I really love this product, so I thought I would share it to who ever that has tried every other acne product.

So I recently just ran out of the acne solution clarifying lotion & being the lazy butt I am, I haven't gotten one in 2 FULL weeks! lol As the results, I have gotten 4 pimples on my forehead . ='( Therefore, I decided to go to the Bay to get some. & lucky for me, my friend just informed me that Clinique was doing a promotion! With a minimum purchase of $28 you get FREE gifts! I love getting free gifts lol so I had to go!!

Inside the shopping bag
Step 2 Acne Solution: Clarifying Lotion $17
This is what I ran out of, I dunno why it's called a lotion lol it should be called a toner cause lotions are suppose to be creamy...am I right?! Also this lotion does sting my face every time I use it...I think that just means it's working lol.

Step 1 Acne Solution: Cleansing Foam $23
I love that fact that this is foamy.

Silicone Face Scrubber: $2 on Ebay

This is what I use to wash my face with the cleansing foam. I highly recommend this face scrubber! It got rid of my blackheads and is supper gentle on my face. Also this thing takes off my make up so easily! I love the fact that I can see all my make up on this scrubber, it just puts my mind to ease, that ALL of my make up is removed. & all I have to do is rinse the scrubber with water to clean it.

Step 3 was an acne lotion. I didn't buy it because I did not really need it. I just use any kind of face lotion after and it does not effect the results.

Free Make up Bag
