Collective Haul

This haul is long over due! I haven't been able to do any hauls this month because I haven't had to chance to take pictures of anything I bought. Anyways, this haul is going to be what I bought within this month. I feel like I bought more things that what I'm gonna show you, lol but yea...these items, are what I can remember buying lol.

You know what's weird? I use to HATE!!! Light denim and denim jackets lol, and just recently I've been obsessing over this light wash denim jacket! I feel like, I've been really enjoying foods and fashion products that I would never be caught dead in like a year ago!

Everything Stankus Wedges? $80

I am in LOVE with this heel. The platform/wedge gives it a retro feel, which I am currently loving! &!!! The suede is super soft! Lol I wore these to work and I was able to walk around in them for 7hrs!!!

Talula Jacket $120

I have been rocking like jacket to death lately. It is my current FAV!

Toms $55

Lol funny story. I swore to myself that I would never ever own a pair of Toms because they look like kungfu shoes...I ate my own words because I bought this pair a couple weeks ago lol. & I do not regret it at all.

Steve Madden Rain Boots $125

Got a pair of trendy rain boots for the rainy weather in Calgary. I love how they look like regular boots instead of the traditional rain boots.

Guess Road to California Handbag $160

This bag has everything I ever wanted in a bag! Rosegold Studs, tassel, double strap/handle, there is a pocket divider inside...the list goes on. =)

Eastern Fortune

Eastern Fortune is my all time favorite Chinese restaurant here in Calgary. The dishes are cheap and soo delicious. Also what great about this place? They give you a crap load of food lol...if you compare to this restaurant to Sun's BBQ. &&& They open super late too! So if your craving Chinese food after the clubs, this place is awesome.

The location is 416 16 Ave NE =)

If you guys follow my on Instagram (xohuynh), you will notice that I go to this restaurant a lot!  

Anyway, me and the bf was helping some friends move to the NW on Sunday and we went to Eastern Fortune for dinner and this is what we ate.

 Lol if your wondering why my soup is soo red...I went a little too crazy with the red vinegar.

 Lol we got this by mistake. It was sorta like sweet and sour pork but it has a hint of curry...it was alright lol.

And for dessert we got pudding. Sooo refreshing and cold. Oh and we ate everything with steamed white rice of course lol.

Nailart Challenge: Week 9

Metallic Nails:

Here is an instagram picture of my nails this week. I was having a hard time trying to capture a good picture of my thumb because my nails were so glossy that you couldn't even see the diamond. Oh and don't mind my thumb nail...it's awkwardly broken lol.

It actually doesn't look that bad in real life soo I'm just gonna fix it some other time. =P

The Pink Camera

This is the camera that I have been dying over for the past year. It's part of the Nikon 1 series, and OMG! It's super adorable.

My previous digital camera is no longer functional. It has lived a good life ='( & I haven't had a camera for like 4 years now. I've been taking pictures with my Iphone 4, not that I am complaining...but sometimes...it just... doesn't focus or flash the way I want it to.

 Ever since I saw this pink camera at future shop and got a chance to play with it, I fell in love...deeply in love and it breaks my heart because I don't have it yet.

SOOOO...that said...my birthday it coming up lol. I said this before in my previous posts. *cough cough* I have a simple request to make. Friends and family, I want a VISA giftcard...because I dunno if I want to purchase the camera at Future Shop or Best Buy, so to be safe...just get me a gift card that I can use anywhere lol. Which would be a VISA giftcard. =)

The BFF came back from her China trip last night & gave me a glass bead bracelet =). Missed her so much.

Nailart Challenge: Week 8

UGH!! Don't you hate it when you take a picture with your phone and it looks perfect...but when you upload it on the web, it's fricken blurry?!?!?

Lol. I hate it. AHEM! SOOO my birthday is coming up in like a month and I am accepting VISA giftcards...for my Pink Nikon 1 camera charity lol. *Hint hint*...Lisa, linda...Jenny...=D

Bacon & Eggs

This past few days, I have been on a crazyyyy!!!! Bacon crave lol I've actually had dreams about bacon. =P & tonight, I finally fed that craving. I made bacon and eggs...for tonights snack. Lol yes...I'm quite a fatty person. Usually when I crave bacon, I would just fry it and eat it like candy lol but I wanted to try something different. Maybe tomorrow, I will just eat plain bacon...*DROOLS*

 LOVE Schneiders bacon because their slices of bacon are so fat lol.

I used 2 bacon stripes.

And 2 eggs.

I cooked the bacon stripes for a bit, than added the eggs on top. I was trying to go for sunny side up.

Added some soysauce.

Seasoned with black pepper and salt.

And BAM! It's done. =) I ate it with some instant noodles, cause I'm Asian like that lol.

WildWings

Me and Dan found a new wing joint while walking along 17th ave downtown last week. The place is pretty isolated lol their located next to empty building.

We love to try new food, so when we walked by this place...we just decided to walk in lol.

This is what the interior looks like lol. I didn't want to be creepy, so I just took a picture where there was no one sitting LOL. The inside of this place is pretty nice and clean.

This is their menu. OH, and they have 0ver 100 wing flavors!!!

 There was so many choices of flavors!!! lol but we ended up getting the Awesome Honey (Honey Garlic & Golden Mustard), Smokey Mountain(Smokey BBQ & Teriyaki) and fries with bacon, cheese and gravy.

 Honestly, I'm not a fan of any kind of teriyaki flavored wings lol. So I'm not really gonna say anything about this one lol.

The Awesome Honey on the other hand...IT WAS SO YUMMY!

Look how big that chicken wing is!!! It's like the farmers feed it steroids lol. These wings are nothing like pub wings at all! They were super tender and juicy and the skin was so crispy!

We had an overall good experience. Food was great. The only thing that I didn't like about the place, was that the service, it was really slow. lol The waitresses are polite and very nice but just slow. Other than that, I do recommend checking the place out. =D
