Product Review: Hard Candy 4 Day Mascara Stain

So I've stumbled upon this make up (Hard Candy) brand at Walmart in the cosmetic section next to the Rimmel products. What caught my eyes the most was the their mascaras & that big fat tubes they were packaged in. I decided to try this mascara out because the 4 day label intrigued me. It cost me about $7 & the mascara itself is a decent size & has a decent amount of product in it.

The back of the tube, claims to last 4 whole days without the need to reapply mascara. It also says that you can "shower, go in the pool, cry, rub your eyes, or get rained on - your lashes will stay flawless".  Lets see how well that mascara lives up to it's expectation.

This is what the brush looks like.

I don't know if you guys can tell by the picture, but the mascara liquid is really thin and runny.

The mascara liquid was so thin that every time I put it on, it got everywhere. I couldn't even put my eye shadows on first, I would have to put on mascara, clean it up, than do my normal eye make up routine.

On the plus side, the mascara does coat the upper lids of my eyes though, that saves me eyeliner & no clumps. It also does make my lashes look decently good.

Day 2

There was barely any traces of mascara on my lashes for day 2. I guess if you stared hard enough, you can sort of tell that my individual lashes are thicker than normal.

Day 3

There was no trace of mascara on my lashes & honestly, I don't even need to show you guys a day 4 picture because it would just look the same.

Pros:
- It coats the upper eye lid so I don't have to do it with liner.
-No clumps
-Once my lashes gets wet, it doesn't run down my eyes, if that makes an

Cons:
-Thin & runny
-Messy
-Doesn't even last for 2 days.

I give this mascara a 5/10. I wouldn't recommend this to you guys cause it didn't live up to it's 4 day expectation, I do regret purchasing this because it's such a pain in the bum to apply. However,  since I bought it & have to use it, I think I will take it this with me to my Dominican trip in June. Why? Because it doesn't run down  my face when my lashes gets wet, so it would be the perfect mascara to swim in minus the messy application of it.

I feel like whenever I decide to take a OOTD picture, my nails are never painted nicely. They are always chipped!! lol.

Best Purchased Ever: Snuggle

I have never in my life used fabric softener...ever!! So I've always been curious about it & I finally bought Snuggle & dumped a cup load right in the washing machine. Screw Downy Unstopable beads, this Snuggle scent beats it! It's so potent that even after the dryer my clothes smells good.

I just finished washing my blankets last night & now I refuse to leave my bed because it smells so damn good.

Product Review: Vaseline Hydratant Spray & Go

Happy long weekend guys!

I'm back with another review, This time it's gonna be on this new Vaseline product, Hydratant Spray & Go. This new line has 3 different scents:
Aloe Fresh (this is the one I purchased for $6.77 @ Walmart)

This spray lotion claims to be convenient,  non greasy & to moisturizes in seconds.

This is so easy to use, all you do is spray and rub & that's it. No more pumping or squeezing lotion!!!

What's also awesome about this bottle...can, it the lock & open cap...nozzle thing. All you have to do is turn it & your set to go, it's actually really convenient that way. I would always hate bring lotion when traveling because for the pump bottles, you had to push down the pump & than turn it to lock & a lot of extra lotion would come out. With this, no more of that non sense lol.

Another thing that I absolutely hate that pump bottle lotion does, is leave dried lotion drips at the tip, or that ring of dried lotion for the squeeze bottles. It's sorta gross & annoying. Lucky, I haven't had any dried lotion on the spray nozzle for the Vaseline spray.

The continues spray is actually pretty awesome. Can you imagine if it wasn't?

The lotion it's self is quite thin and runny, it feels like I'm rubbing water on my self. But, does it do a good job of moisturizing my skin you ask?

Compared to the traditional lotions, it  does an OK job, not get me wrong, it makes my skin soft and everything but it doesn't live up to the normal pump/squeeze lotions. I think it's because a pump/squeeze lotion is more thick compare to this spray on one. This spray lotion is pretty much watered down lotion so it's not as strong, if you know what I mean lol. But like I said, it's not bad.

Pros:
- Very convenient
- Easy lock & open cap
- Portable
- Smells good
- Easy to hold & use
- No gross dried dripped lotion on the nozzle
- Non-greasy
- Fast absorbing

Cons:
- Lotion is thin & runny
- Not as moisturizing as regular pump lotion

What is my rating? & would I buy this again?
I give this Spray & Go lotion a 7 out of 10 & I would buy it again because it is super convenient to use, especially right after the shower. Although the formula is quite thin, I would probably just use more or use regular lotion on my most dry body parts, like my elbows and knees. =) Hope you guys give this thing a try & share your opinion in it.

Thrifting at Value Village

Hey guys,  I just back home form thrifting at Value Village (104-58th Ave SE location) & I thought I would share my experience with you guys. This location actually just finished getting expanded & renovated so it was very big and very well maintained. However, it's very pricey compared to the Goodwill that was like 10 blocks away.

I had high hopes that I was gonna find tons of awesome stuff...I didn't. I haven't been having any luck lately & it seems that everything is over picked & over priced. I feel that Value Village is too corporate almost, their prices have raised dramatically over a short period of years & I sometimes have a felling that not all of the profit goes to charity like Goodwill. It's pretty sucky if you ask me, on some stuff you mind as well go to the retail store and buy the item brand new.

I just want someone to take me thrifting in USA. PLEASE? =P

I did however, manage to get 2 things though. I found a pair of dark high waisted jeans for $12.99...I bet the Fashion Citizen girls would trip on how expensive that it is lol.

I'm gonna turn the jeans into high waisted shorts and maybe add some distress on them. The last thing that I found was these awesome coin earrings for $2.99. Very Roman Empire.
